This spring, Suzy Lakeside Crafting Club is offering two hands-on classes designed especially for beginners and creative explorers: Spring Sun Catchers and Crushed Glass Fusion Art.

☀️ Spring Sun Catchers Class
There’s something magical about sunlight shining through handmade art. In this class, you’ll create your own sparkling sun catcher using crushed glass and resin that will catch and reflect light in beautiful ways.
Participants will learn how to:
• Design a balanced crushed glass layout
• Work safely with resin
• Remove bubbles and create a smooth finish
• Build layered dimension for extra sparkle
• Finish a piece ready to hang in a sunny window
No experience is necessary — the process is simple, relaxing, and incredibly satisfying.
At the end of class, you’ll take home a handmade sun catcher that brightens your home every day.
🌊 Crushed Glass Fusion Art Class
If you love the look of coastal art, sea glass, and textured designs, this class is for you.
In our Crushed Glass Fusion Art class, you’ll create an 8×10 framed artwork using crushed glass, resin, and beautiful embellishments like shells and starfish.
You’ll learn how to:
• Design a composition using crushed glass
• Create depth and texture with layered materials
• Work with resin to preserve your artwork
• Add natural embellishments for a coastal feel
• Finish a piece ready to display in your home
Each piece becomes a unique work of art, inspired by the ocean and shaped by your creativity.
